Each of our Dog Pro's at Wonder Dog train about 150 pups a year and make GREAT MONEY doing what they love and seeing a real change in the lives of their clients.   That's right, many people make this their lifetime career!

Even better, instead of going into debt - paying $15,000+ in tuition - like most certified dog trainers who seek out a legit dog training school, we make you a simple deal...

If you'll train dogs for us for a year, then we'll waive your tuition...

AND we'll train you FOR FREE in your basic dog obedience certificate through the Wonder Dog Academy at our HQ in Memphis, TN for a 1-3 weeks (depending on a few variables) with all expenses paid by us while paying you a salary during training...

AND, upon graduation, we give you a full schedule of puppies to train back in your home town on that same salary...or whichever big city in the US you want to go to...

AND at the end of your first year as a Dog Pro, you get a choice about your career track going forward.  You'll either get promoted to a Senior Dog Pro and keep training pups...or you' get promoted to Lead Trainer where you'll start training trainers...or you'll get promoted to Managing Trainer where you'll start hiring and managing a team of trainers...all while getting a bump in salary and earning a share of the profits!

Our Impact: We aim to train 1 million dogs by 2050, which means that we’ll have restored 1,000,000 homes back to a sense of sanity (if you have ever lived with an unruly pet, then you know EXACTLY why many of clients think of us as heroes!).

We can’t fix all of the dog problems in the world, but we think that getting one MILLION big hugs at doggie graduation by families who say that we've changed their lives is a great start...which is pretty cool, because really now...who gets do work that ACTUALLY matters in the world?  (This is why we come to work with so much passion!)

What Makes Us Special: There are a dozen kind of dog trainers (service dogs, hunting dogs, narcotics dogs, etc), but we specialize in obedience training.  It’s the one most people think of when they think of "dog training"

Of the 1,000’s of obedience trainers in the world, literally ALL of them train in the basic positive commands like sit, come, down, stay, heel, etc...but very very VERY few trainers will come to your home to train you and your dog in its home habitat - where it actually lives and plays and eats and poops (and drives their family crazy)!

You see, WHERE the dog is trained is the most important factor because you have to be where the dog is being triggered to actually fix the problem behaviors, like pulling on the leash, bolting out the door, pooping on the carpet, jumping on guests, eating off the counter, etc - which means that our in-home services are in very HIGH demand!

Now does it make sense why we believe that training dogs IN THEIR OWN HOME ENVIRONMENT is the safest, cheapest and most effective way to train a dog and their family at the same time?

Even better, once they graduate, we invite them out to play in the Wonder Dog Games, an entire platform we built to have family fun with their newly trained dog around other dog-lovers.  

Literally NO ONE in the world does Dog Games to build friendships and community…except us. Fun, right?

Our Situation: We get 100 requests a month (per Dog Pro) where families are asking us to  come help train their dogs, but each Dog Pro can only get to about 10-15 new ones a month so we are always hiring more Dog Pro's just as soon as we can get around to training more of them at the Academy.

THE DOG PRO JOB

Income: $3500/mo to start

Time: 40-45 hrs/wk

Workweek: 10:00AM-6:30 PM Tuesday - Friday...then 9 AM-4 PM on Saturdays.

Traits of the Ideal Dog Pro: High-energy conversationalist who wins people over easily and connects easily on a heart level.  Also, someone who is self-managed, tough-minded and loves the thrill of helping people!

The Work: Our Dog Pro’s work with about 25 or so families a month, in the dogs’ homes, on video calls and at our weekly Games events.  They also get to do all sorts of other tasks between lessons on slow days, like write blog posts, answer calls, hang posters in coffee shops, represent us at local festivals at our booth on the weekends, post on social media, etc, etc because we are just growing so fast and so we all just “cover” for one another. We are a team in every sense.
