HERE'S THE DEAL...We have LOTS of families reaching out to us for training. We're expanding our growing sales team with 1-2 high energy conversationalists who are GREAT on the phone and LOVE talking to people.

“WAIT! I CAN talk to dog owners on the phone who actually want and need my help and get paid for it?

Yes. Yes you can…and it’s awesome.  We're adding to and growing our sales team and need more GREAT Gate Keepers to make that happen. And the career ladder advances quickly since we are growing so fast, and the pay is pretty good. The pay is great for those who are hungry and ambitious. An added benefit on top of just the pay is knowing that you're actually making a REAL difference in people's live by the work you do for them.

- NO previous experience is required in the dog industry OR as an appointment setter. We’ll train you in all you need to know. You just need to bring the energy and hunger to the table and…

Our Impact: We aim to train 1 million dogs by 2050, which means that we’ll have restored 1,000,000 homes back to a sense of sanity (if you have ever lived with an unruly pet, then you know EXACTLY why many of clients think of us as heroes!).

We can’t fix all of the dog problems in the world, but we think that changing the lives of one MILLION dog families is a great start!  This is why we come to work each day with so much passion (because really now, who gets do work that ACTUALLY matters in the world?)

What Makes Us Special: There are 100 kinds of dog trainers (service dogs, hunting dogs, narcotics dogs, etc), but we specialize in obedience training. It’s the one most people think of when they think of dog training….and of the 1,000’s of obedience trainers in the world, literally ALL of them train in the basic positive commands like sit, come, down, stay, heel, etc, but very very VERY few will come to your home to train you and your dog in it’s home habitat. WHERE the dog is trained matters because this means that, again, VERY FEW dog trainers can actually fix the problem behaviors that drive families crazy, like pulling on the leash, bolting out the door, pooping on the carpet, jumping on guests, etc - which means that we are in very HIGH demand!

This explains why we believe that training dogs IN THEIR OWN HOME environment is the safest, cheapest and most effective way to train a dog and their family at the same time.

Seriously, we are often the only ones who offer this kind of training in any given city. As we are training their dog, we invite them out to play in the Wonder Dog Games, an entire platform we built to have family fun with their newly trained dog. Literally NO ONE in the world does Dog Games…except us. Fun, right?

Our Situation: We get 100-200 requests a month (per location) from families asking us to train their dogs. We need more GREAT Gate Keepers to talk to all these families and talk to them about the magic of in-home dog training and then schedule them in for evaluations (sales appointments). As well as nurturing all the other families through the sales process who don't necessarily buy training right away.

The Gate Keeper

Income: $2500-5500+/mo (Small base salary + commission)

Time: 40-45 hrs/wk, typically 9AM-6:30 PM Monday-Friday, and then 9 AM-4 PM on Saturdays. The Gate Keeper team shares the workload and while there is a minimum amount of hours, if you're really ambitious and hungry, you can work as much as you want!

Traits: High-energy conversationalist who wins people over easily and connects easily on a heart level.  Also, persistent and driven with a will to win. Detail oriented. Loves being of real use and service to other people and actually wants to make a difference in the world!

The Work: Our Dog Pro’s work with about 20-25 families a month, in the dogs’ homes and at our weekly Games events. They also get to do all sorts of other tasks between lessons on slow days, like write blog posts, answer live calls, hang posters in coffee shops, represent us at local festivals at our booth on the weekends, post on social media, etc, etc because we are just growing so fast and so we all just “cover” for one another. We are a team in every sense.

Career Ladder:  Gate Keeper >> Senior Gate Keeper >> Gate Keeper Manager -- Since we're a growing company and do a lot of things, for those really hungry and ambitious, there is opportunity to grow and expand into other areas, roles and departments.
