WE BELIEVE...
Dogs are Bored...and need stimulation, exercise & friends,
People are Lonely...and need stimulation, exercise & friends...
Both Problems Are Driving Us All Crazy...and so let's do something about it!
OUR SOLUTION? The Wonder Dog Tribe Games & Events (for Dog-Lovers)
Imagine a one-of-a-kind club for dog-lovers....a high-energy social context....a curated dog pack for well-behaved, playful dogs (and the families that love them) where we gather a few times a month in different places around the city with our furry sidekicks to play for an hour or so and hang out with new friends.
Over time, real, actual friendships develop outside of our Tribe events, and then double-dates, and then Christmas parties and then outings of all kinds that have nothing to do with Wonder Dog. How fun, right?
Our vision for the Tribe is to see the city filled with happy, tired dogs and thriving friendships (that go beyond our playdates).
So as long as you are *Tribe Certified* then you are free to join us.
How Do I Get Tribe Certified?
Easy. Being Tribe Certified means that your dog has demonstrated that he...
- Can hold a sit OR a down for 10 seconds upon command (consistently),
- Can heel OR walk on a loose leash (that is, without tugging and pulling), and
- Has no history of OR signs of biting, lunging or excessive barking towards people or dogs.
If your dog can demonstrate these to us, then you guys can join the Wonder Dog Tribe and get all of the various benefits we offer for just $14.97 (plus $5/mo per additional dog). Even better, you get to try it out for FREE for 30-days. Just register using the form below, put a card on file with us and schedule a time to come out early to one of our events to get your pup certified.
If you dog needs a little (or a lot) of training to get Tribe Certified, then of course, we are professional dog trainers and would love to help you as we have training programs to fit almost any budget. Go here to set up a free consultation.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When is the next event?
We typically do things together once or twice a week depending on space and weather, etc - typically on Saturday mornings, Tuesday nights and Thursdays around noon. During the spring and fall, we are typically out and about around the city, but when it's hot or cold or rainy, we go indoors.
The spots are limited to 10-15 dogs per event so you MUST RSVP to save your spot when the weekly schedules are emailed to you.
Can my kids come out?
Of course. As you see in our highlight reels above, 99% of our Tribe events are family-friendly. As a matter of fact, some of the kid-handlers are the ones who will whoop your tail in the Games if you are not careful (because they practice at home!)
Can I bring multiple dogs?
As long as you have one handler per dog, sure, c'mon out. Otherwise, it'll probably be a distraction to the main goals of getting to know people and playing the Games if you are wrangling more than one dog at a time, ya know?
What about aggressive and reactive dogs?
We love dogs of all kinds, and some of us on the team even have dogs that are not as friendly as we'd like, but these Tribe events MUST be as safe as possible for all dogs, kiddos and parents so we simply cannot have dogs barking, lunging and biting...
And the bad news is that, even though we'd all love to make excuses for our fur buddies since they are happy and friendly MOST of the time, the fact is that once a dog starts down this path, they often stay on it unless they undergo extensive training.
If you'd like, we have several trainer friends in town who can help resolve these issues. Just call us and we'll point you in the right direction.
Can I volunteer to help?
Maybe. We have a team of volunteers who love dogs as much as we do and help us plan, set-up, build friendships, run the Games/Events/Festivals and help play a major role in pulling all of this off. We are just dog trainers so need all the help we can get with these events.
However, with the privilege of helping us comes requirements, on-going training both with people and dogs (since you are representing Wonder Dog) and would have various areas of true responsibility. If all this doesn't scare you away and you are still interested, let us know at info@wonderdogtraining.com.
Can I just try it out first, without signing up or putting a card on file?
Sorry, but we pay the bills around here by training dogs so we must keep that front and center. Therefore, everything we do with the Tribe needs to be as easy as possible with minimal distraction or efforts on our part so we have created a simple workflow to start and cancel your membership, all online, and then have given everyone a 30-day FREE trial. Any deviation from that requires extra time and effort that our small team just can't afford. So if you change your mind at any time, just log onto the Tribe Membership Portal to cancel your membership. It's easy and takes just a minute.
If I'm a member, can I bring a friend?
We love meeting new people, so YES, you can bring your friend, but NO, they cannot bring their dog...unless they want to register for their own Tribe Membership. Again, we run a tight ship here because our team is so small, so we need no deviations in how the program works.
